KENNEWICK, Wash.-St. Joesph’s School held its annual Blessing of the Pets on Wednesday, October 4.
Students and faculty are encouraged to bring their pets to the school campus every year to be blessed on the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, who was famous for his affinity for wild animals.
A Priest offers a blessing of the pets as they process around campus at the yearly event. This year students brought dogs, cats and even a horse to the blessing.
