MOXEE, Wash.-The 6th Annual Moxee Lighted Parade is set to light up downtown on Saturday, Dec. 16, starting at 6 p.m.
There’s still time to enter the parade and join the festivities. Parade applications can be downloaded by December 13th at www.EVCEA.org or mail to EVCEA – Lighted Parade, P.O. Box 754, Moxee, WA 98936.
Applications can also be submitted via email to evcea2019@gmail.com.
The parade will feature several divisions, including floats, commercial entries, clubs/antique cars & trucks, youth entries (under 18), police/fire, farm and churches.
Awards will be given for each division in the parade, according to the City of Moxee, with the Sweepstakes Award (Plaque and $500) presented to the entry which best represents the spirt of the 6th Annual Moxee Lighted Parade in both the float division and commercial division.
Parade check-in runs from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., with judging at 5 p.m. The parade will travel from Postma Rd to Iler, then through downtown Moxee.
Following the parade Santa will be at the River Church at 220 E. Seattle Ave. and cookies and cocoa will be available.
