PASCO, Wash. – UPDATE 12/29:
Paramedics regained a heard beat while transporting the 6-year-old involved in the wrong way collision, but was pronounced dead at Sacred Heart, said WSP Troop4er Sarah Clasen. The family opted to donate his organs.
The suspect sustain a broken arm and wrist, with no life threatening injuries, Clasen said. He is still not medically cleared but remains in custody with a trooper with him at all times at Kadlec.
It is believed the suspect wads under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Charges include vehicular homicide and a DUI, Clasen said. A third charge will be added at a later time.
UPDATE, 12/28: The adult victims involved in the wrong-way collision on I-182 in Pasco have been identified.
According to a WSP press memo, Rodrigo Torres-Gonzalez, 42, was driving the vehicle. Guadalupe Vergara Gonzalez, 39 was a passenger along with a 6-year-old and 22-month-old boy.
Vergara Gonzalez and the 22-month-old were pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by the wrong-way driver.
Both Torres-Gonzalez and the 6-year-old were transported to the hospital for their injuries. Their conditions are unknown.
Charges are still pending for the 37-year-old causing driver.

UPDATE 9:30, 12/27: Two people are dead after a wrong way crash on the westbound lanes of I-182 according to Washington State Patrol.
Trooper Sarah Clasen says a 2014 Honda Civic with four people inside were driving in the correct direction on I-182 when they were stuck head on by a 2020 Ford Mustang.
A 39-year-old woman and 1-year-old in the Honda Civic were pronounced dead at the scene according to Trooper Clasen. A 6-year-old was seriously injured and life flighted for medical care.
The 37-year-old male wrong way driver in the 2020 Ford Mustang has minor injuries and is in custody for suspected DUI and vehicular homicide according to Trooper Clasen.
WSP believes the wrong way driver entered I-182 on 20th Ave.
I-182 is still closed at this time.

Westbound lanes of I-182 are fully blocked after a two-car, serious injury collision in Pasco.
According to Lieutenant Dustin Drout with Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 5:33 p.m. and may be a wrong way crash.
The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time.
Westbound traffic is being diverted into southbound SR 397 at exit 14, according to WSDOT.
Eastbound lanes are open but experiencing backups.
