KENNEWICK, Wash. – Three adults in Kennewick were arrested Friday for child abuse and domestic violence according to a press release from the Kennewick Police Department.
KPD says detectives recently started investigating reports of child abuse at a Kennewick home. After an interview and an investigation, detectives had probable cause to arrest three adults.
After a search warrant allowed KPD to investigate a home in the area of W 19th Avenue and S Olympia Street, police arrested the three adults and found the children safe.
KPD says two suspects were charged for second degree domestic violence assault and second degree assault of a child while the third was charged with third degree assault of a child.
KPD was assisted in the arrests by the Pasco Police Department and the Tri-City Regional SWAT team.
