2nd annual Breaking Chains fundraiser set for October 21

KENNEWICK, Wash.- Disc golf players have a chance to play while raising money for people in recovery programs.

The second annual Breaking Chains Disc Golf Doubles Tournament will help raise money for Stay Anchored, a nonprofit supporting addiction and substance use recovery.

The tournament kicks off at 8:30 a.m. on October 21 at the Two Rivers Park Disc Golf Course. The top three finishers in the two rounds will each receive a trophy, as well as bonus prizes players can buy into. The bonus pool will be donated if it doesn’t hit.

Registration is required for the tournament with divisions ranging from Junior to Mixed Professional Open. Criteria for divisions are listed on the registration site.

All money raised at the event will go to Stay Anchored to address health and housing needs of people in recovery.
