YAKIMA, Wash.-The 25th Annual Stand Down and Veterans Benefit Fair is set for Saturday, Oct. 19 at the SunDome at Yakima State Fair Park.
Over 100 services will be available for veterans, active duty or reserve members of the military and their families at the free event presented by the Yakima Valley Veterans Coalition from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to the City of Yakima.
Lunch will be provided for attendees and the services available include, medical screening, flu shots, dental assistance, housing support, clothing, haircuts, meal boxes, employment help and more.
The event is free, however, attendees can scan the QR code on the attached flyer to register online for services and save time.
