FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. –

More information on the crash has been released via a press release from the Washington State Patrol.
According to WSP, a car entering the intersection from Crestloch Road to go southbound onto US-395 failed to yield for a truck driving northbound on US-395.
Both the driver, Angela Hart, 50, and the passenger, Aspen Hart, 18, in the turning car died in the crash. Next of kin were notified by medics at the crash.
The driver and passenger in the truck were injured and brought to a local hospital.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, a major crash at US-395 and Crestloch Road is under investigation Sunday afternoon.
Franklin County Fire District 3 reports that the crash involved two cars and one or more deaths and that the intersection of US-395 and Crestloch will be closed for several hours.
The Washington State Department of Transportation says there are currently backups and delays due to the crash and that traffic has been reduced to one lane around milepost 30.
