TRI-CITIES, Wash.-Millions of Americans hit the road over Memorial Day Weekend in Washington and around the country and the number of arrests for suspected DUI’s in the region are now known.
The Washington State Patrol posted the numbers for suspected DUI arrests over Memorial Day Weekend between Yakima and Walla Walla on social media on May 28.
While there were 17 arrests on suspicion of DUI, emphasis patrols and public service announcements about the dangers of drunk driving seemed to have worked, with no traffic deaths being reported from DUI’s over the weekend.
