STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. – A 1/2 acre fire is currently burning in the Onion Creek area north of the Colville National Forest.
According to Stevens County Emergency Management, the fire is in the 2326 area of Clugston-Onion Creek Road and is currently threatening a structure.
A helicopter, a dozer and 2 engines are on the scene. Two fire bosses, air attack and another helicopter are enroute to the scene.
People are asked to avoid the area unless absolutely necessary.
