FINLEY, Wash. — A mobile home fire that spread to its neighbor at Columbia Park in Finley left two families without homes Sunday afternoon.
More than 30 firefighters, including a crew from Walla Walla, responded to the fire the started in the back of one mobile home. The flames quickly spread due to the wind to a second home and to the shed of a third, according to Chief Scott LoParco with Benton County Fire District 1.
LoParco said the cause of the fire is still under investigation. Both mobile homes were destroyed but there were no injuries.
